Hey! Sorry I haven’t updated any songs lately. I’ve been working on my chops, which has forced me away from the computer. I want to get another YouTube video up, so I’ve been working on my arrangement of Tune Up by Miles Davis. The problem is I want to improv over the changes for a couple of choruses and have it not suck! 
I’ve been working out of Scott Henderson’s Jazz Guitar Chord System book and Jerry Bergonzi’s Melodic Structures book. I also stumbled upon Jack Zucker’s Dodecaphonics, which has got me thinking pretty hard about harmony.
Please check out the guest transcriptions page. Daniel Montplaisir has kindly added his take on Monk’s ‘Round Midnight. Also, check out Licks/Phrases/Chords. I’ve got some ideas for that and have been updating it the last few weeks.
By the way, check out this video by Mike Oria. This is what made me hit the woodshed a little harder recently.
